Paralympics Lesson

Yesterday the Year 3's learnt about the Paralympics and had a turn playing wheelchair rugby.  The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about different disabilities and the variety of sports in the Paralympics.  We are going to give some of these games a go during PE lessons.  For example, sitting volley ball and goal ball sound like fun.

 

 

Chinese Calligraphy Lesson

Today we had a Chinese Calligraphy lesson with some special visitors from China.  We learnt so much and even got to use real calligraphy brushes on rice paper that will last for thousands of years!!!

Screen Printing

This term we have been doing screen printing and it has been fantastic fun...but very time consuming!  We have learnt how to make our own stencils and then screen print on to paper and tea towels.  We have an Enviro theme in our designs.
